Roasted Red Potatoes

Roasted potatoes can be cooked in an oven, or over an open flame using dry heat.

This cooking method involved browning the outside of the potato, and caramelizing other complimentary ingredients. Most meats and root vegetables may be roasted together.

After roasting, the dish may be removed from it's heat source, and left to simmer for a few minutes on residual heat.
